中国国际经济合作学会于1983年在北京成立，是在国家民政部登记注册、由商务部直接领导、具有法人资格的全国性社团组织。

国际会展经济专业委员会（简称：国展委）是中国国际经济合作学会直属的专业委员会，负责研究会展经济发展现状及趋势，组织实施会展行业国际会议和论坛活动，制定会展行业标准，开展会展人才培训，举办会展相关技术、产品、应用的发布及推介活动。

为推动会展业向国际化、品牌化、专业化、数字化、低碳化方向发展，在会展机构及相关领域单位的支持下，中国国际经济合作学会国际会展经济专业委员会（国展委）于2025年1月7日在北京正式成立。

国展委专注国际定位，聚焦涉外经济技术展览会（如中国知名展会）、出国展览项目（如国际知名展会），以及国际会议、赛事、节庆等领域。

国展委旨在打造国际会展经济合作与交流的优质平台，致力于促进我国会展业高质量发展，提升会展行业新质生产力。委员会紧密围绕新发展阶段要求，深入贯彻新发展理念，广泛汇聚国际会展研究与实践的优势力量，搭建国际会展领域的高端交流平台。

China Association for International Economic Cooperation (CAFIEC) was established in Beijing in 1983. It is a national social organization registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and directly supervised by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, with legal person status.

The International Convention and Exhibition Economy Committee of CAFIEC (hereinafter referred to as “ICEEC”) is a specialized committee directly under CAFIEC. It undertakes responsibilities for researching the current status and trends of the convention and exhibition economy, organizing and implementing international conferences and forums within the convention and exhibition industry, formulating industry standards, conducting talent training in the convention and exhibition sector, and hosting release and promotion activities for technologies, products, and applications related to conventions and exhibitions.

To advance the convention and exhibition industry toward internationalization, branding, professionalism, digitalization, and low - carbon development, with the support of convention and exhibition institutions and relevant entities, the International Convention and Exhibition Economy Committee of AFIEC (ICEEC) was officially established in Beijing on January 7, 2025.

ICEEC emphasizes an international focus, centering on foreign - related economic and technological exhibitions (such as well - known Chinese exhibitions), overseas exhibition projects (such as internationally renowned exhibitions), as well as international conferences, events, and festivals.

ICEEC aims to build a high - quality platform for international convention and exhibition economic cooperation and exchange, committed to promoting the high - quality development of China’s convention and exhibition industry and enhancing its new productive forces. The committee closely follows the requirements of the new development stage, deeply implements the new development philosophy, widely aggregates superior forces in international convention and exhibition research and practice, and establishes a high - end exchange platform in the international convention and exhibition domain.
